  • Passport-sized photograph of the witness shall also be submitted;

  • Crucial ceremonial wedding photos, including Varmala, Feras, Mangal Sutra, Panigrahan and more, will be required to be submitted along with the other documents;

  • If either of the parties have divorced from a previous marriage, the decree of divorce would also be required to be submitted;

  • In case the ex-spouse dies, the death certificate from the local government shall be submitted as well;

Time Period to Get a Tatkal Marriage Certificate-

The term ‘Tatkal’ itself means fast, the procedure of Tatkal, thus, shall be as fast as it gets. It is generally quicker than the standard procedure for marriage registration.
