What Is The Process Of Court Marriage In Delhi?

Process of Court Marriage in Delhi

  • Hindu Marriage Act of 1955- On the same working day without giving any notice to the addresses of the parties, the marriage that is solemnized at the Arya Samaj Mandir is registered in accordance with Section 8 of the Hindu Marriage Act of 1954 by the Registrar of marriage authorised by the Delhi Government.

  • Special Marriage Act of 1954- Under the Special Marriage Act, a 30-day notice must be given in both parties' presence and in front of three witnesses as determined by the Marriage Registrar, who is chosen by the Delhi government.
